Morning Green Smoothie Recipe

Fresh, nourishing and energizing, this green smoothie will help you start your day feeling great!

This green smoothie is perfect to have in the morning with your multi grain toast, or even as a breakfast itself! It's packed with vitamins and fiber. If you're always in a rush, you can even pre-pack the ingredients in the right portions into bags and keep it in the freezer (remember to label them so you don't forget the date of when you froze it). Then all you have to do is put it in the blender and add some water. And ta-da!

Ingredients (serves 1-2 glasses)

1/2 a cucumber

Handful of Spinach leafs

1/2 a green apple

2 thin slices of fresh ginger

1 celery stick

1/2 a glass of water

Optional: add ice cubes if you'd like it extra fresh.


Put all of the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. If you find it too thick add more water and blend again. Serve on a tall glass and enjoy!
